It's Not Too Late to Fund Your Education for the Fall

Alberta's student loan applications are open now, and with them come grant applications. A grant is money you don't have to pay back!

It may seem as though September's a long way off, but there's no time like the present to make plans for paying for university. The fall semester will be here before you know it!

Aid and support in applying for loans and grants

Part of your financial plan likely includes applying for government student loans. Concordia University of Edmonton has financial aid advisors who can help you develop your financial plan and help you to complete a government student loan/grant application. We offer free student loan application support throughout the summer months.

A financial aid advisor will sit down with you to walk through the steps of the application, and give you a hand on pulling together any necessary documents before the loan deadline.

When should I apply for a loan or grant?

We recommend submitting your student loan and grant application early this summer! Not only will you learn how much money you may be eligible to receive, it also ensures your funding is in place by the start of the fall semester, when fees are due.

How about scholarships from Concordia University of Edmonton itself?

Of course, Concordia is proud to offer financial support to students, above and beyond what you may receive from the province. Scholarships are only available to enrolled students, so be sure you've submitted an application to study at Concordia!
