Impacting the World: The SDGs Challenge

IE University is running a global challenge for high school students to help support sustainability!

Are you a high school student looking to build your skills and contribute to global sustainability? If you are interested in gaining knowledge and skills to proactively take informed action and contribute in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations, then this is the challenge for you!

The SDGs Challenge is a global competition to develop creative problem-solving skills by designing innovative solutions to the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students will apply a design-thinking methodology to create impactful projects, learn how to effectively pitch, and present their refined proposal to a panel of judges.

International competition

IE University invites high school students who are starting university in 2022 or 2023 to take part in an international competition! You can compete solo, or as part of a team of up to three people.

You'll apply design-thinking methodology to develop and pitch a proposal to a panel of judges!

How to apply

To get involved, you just need to fill out the application form, and include a short essay or video on the topic of the 17 Goals for sustainable development from the United Nations.

Think about how you and your friends can meaningfully contribute to realizing the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, and take part in an amazing international competition. You'll meet students like yourself from all around the world, and have the chance to pitch your work to a panel of experienced judges.

Best of all, you'll get a chance at a scholarship to IE University just for participating!
