At Middlesex University most of the applicants that apply for a scholarship obtain an award of at least £1000 towards the reduction of their first year’s tuition fee. Applying is very simple, but the first step is to apply to the university. You can apply to the programme directly or through UCAS, or even via a trusted partner.

The scholarship application form will ask for your personal details, like full name, address, student ID (which only applicants have at this point) and the programme to which you’ve applied. Next, you’ll be asked to list your academic qualifications, such as previous degrees and grades. It’s a great chance to highlight if you’ve been at the top of your class, participated in any research or have any experience in the field. You can upload documents to prove this on the form.

Finally, you will have the chance to write a statement that explains why you deserve to be granted an award. Higher education institutions like to know that their money is being invested in a student with higher chances to succeed in their career, which is why they invest in those who have a plan. In this part you should describe your future plans and what strategies you will put in place through the programme taught at Middlesex University.
