Toronto Academy of Acting for FilmToronto Academy of Acting for Film & Television held a guest speakers forum with casting directors, talent agents, writers & producers attend our Winter 2013 full-time film acting program to speak to our students.

Students had a real eye opener when it was reinforced that many actors coming out of years of training are not “ camera ready” when entering into the profession which discourages talent agents to take them on.

The Academy is fully aware of what industry professionals are looking for when it comes to talent. The Academy trains our students for the full time four month film acting diploma program practical ” hands on” camera film acting techniques so that our students are “camera ready” which makes the Academy stand out from other schools in producing top talent in the eyes of talent agents, casting directors and production companies in a short period of time.

Congratulations to our previous student Nick Groulx who graduated with a 90% average from the Fall program and was introduced to the top five talent agents in Toronto by the Academy. All of the talent agents wanted to represent him. It was a difficult choice for him but he finally decided. He is now ready to go out for auditions after four months of solid hands on training in film acting with the Academy.
