Students heading off to study at universities overseas will have a slightly longer ‘to do’ list than those staying closer to home. As a popular international destination for Canadian students studying in Australia, Bond University has prepared the following checklist for first-timers:

3. Book your on-campus accommodation and airport transfer online at www.myroom.bond.edu.au.
4. Get a full check-up from your family doctor, dentist and any necessary specialists before you leave home.
5. Arrange for funds to be transferred to an account that you can access from overseas.
6. Check the luggage allowances and excess baggage fees with your chosen airlines. You can access an advised packing list from the Bond University website.
