In the culinary industry, it is important to be well-organized, have attention to detail and be able to work efficiently under time constraints. In the Cook-Apprenticeship program you learn the skills required for professional food preparation from highly-qualified instructor chefs in Algonquin College's world-class culinary labs.

  •  Grade12 English 

  • Applicants must be formally registered as apprentices, must have obtained an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, must be currently employed in the trade, and must be released by employers to attend the College.
  • Eligibility is determined by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development, Ontario College of Trades, Employment Ontario.
