Description:

The Environmental and Wildlife Management program makes use of equipment and techniques that conform to professional standards. We work closely with partners in the environmental industry to ensure that students graduate with the skills necessary to obtain a successful career.

The first two years of the program are spent on campus where students learn the skills needed for a career in environmental studies and wildlife management. Students also participate in regular field trips. Third year students polish their skills with either a field- or laboratory-based internship, hosted either by governmental and academic institutions,or environmental businesses and organizations. Many graduating students have transformed this opportunity into future employment. As a student in this program you will be part of a small, tightly focused group with a powerful dynamic. If you are curious, enjoy the outdoors and are passionate about the natural environment, we encourage you to consider Vanier College’s Environmental and Wildlife Management Program.
