Requirements for Canadian Students

Admission to the College is on the basis of the successful completion of the Quebec Secondary School Diploma (Diplôme d'études secondaires), including Secondary V second language. As well, students who have graduated from secondary school in Quebec as of June 1st, 1997 must have passed:
Secondary IV Physical Science and
Secondary V Math or Math 426 or Math 436.
Adult education students graduating as of June 1, 1997 require Secondary IV History in addition to the above.
Many programs require specific prerequisite courses in addition to the Quebec Secondary School Diploma and CÉGEP entrance requirements. Please refer to the Program Admission Requirements chart. It is recommended that students lacking prerequisites consult the Admissions Office to discuss their admissibility to the program in which they are interested.

Quebec students whose Relevé de notes from the Ministry is not complete at the point of admission, must present a complete Relevé by September 20th for the fall semester or February 15th by the winter semester in order to remain registered at the College.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Vanier College is a member of SRAM (Service Régional d'Admission du Montréal Métropolitain [www.sram.qc.ca]) using the SRAM application form. Application forms and brochures are available in high school Guidance Offices, at the College, and for those living outside Montreal, by mail. Applications for the Autumn are available early December and for Winter in late August. Applicants may apply online from January for Autumn applications after October.
