Dive into an incredible living research environment, with internationally-renowned, state-of-the-art marine laboratory facilities, at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) on Scotland‘s west coast. Enjoy first-hand interactions with marine science experts, collect samples and data on research vessels, in aquaria and on the seashore, and develop excellent laboratory skills. 


Opportunities to exit with any of the following four pathways:

  • BSc (Hons) Marine Science
  • BSc (Hons) Marine Science with Arctic Studies
  • BSc (Hons) Marine Science with Marine Biology
  • BSc (Hons) Marine Science with Oceanography and Robotics

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    • Alberta High School Diploma (Can be issued in French or English) - 60% in five acceptable Grade 12 subjects
    • Ontario Secondary School Diploma - 60% in six acceptable Grade 12 subjects at U or M level
    • British Columbia Certificate of Graduation - 60% in five acceptable Grade 12 subjects
    • Nova Scotia School Graduation Diploma - 60% in five acceptable Grade 12 subjects
    • 2 subjects should be relevant sciences
