Notes for Canadian Students

Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS) are bursaries offered to families whose sons are appropriate candidates for the school and who have successfully completed the application process, but who require financial assistance in order to afford the school's fees. Bursaries are offered in the form of annual grants, which are determined through the analysis of family financial need and must be renewed on a yearly basis. Entrance scholarships are awarded to students entering the school for the first time who have an average of 80% or higher. Scholarships are based on the results of a competitive merit based competition. Scholarship and bursary applications are available from the Admission Office. Financial information submitted by families in support of FACS applications is held in strict confidence by the Admission Office. The Financial Aid Committee begins to meet in mid February. They consider available resources and recommendations for each applicant. Bursaries and scholarships can only be awarded to applicants who have successfully completed the admission process and been offered a place at the school. Therefore, we encourage applicants to apply early before resources have begun to be allocated.
