Requirements for Canadian Students

An undergraduate degree from a recognized college or university is required for admission to a Masters or Diploma program, though some mature students are considered for enrollment each year. Program students must also provide evidence of Christian character, including a Pastoral Reference Evaluation

Requirements for International Students

Since the language of instruction at Taylor Seminary is English, students whose first language is not English are normally required to demonstrate facility in the English language by achieving satisfactory scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB), or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) unless proficiency in English has been demonstrated in another way. Students who have graduated from a college or university in which English is the primary language of instruction will not be required to submit TOEFL, CAEL, MELAB or IELTS results. However, the Admissions Committee may require a TOEFL, CAEL, MELAB or IELTS exam after reviewing a student's transcript and other written materials. International students are strongly encouraged to take one of these exams and submit the results rather than hope for an exception to the policy.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions, personal reference forms and the church endorsement form must be sent to Taylor Seminary directly by the issuing institution or referee. Please visit the website for complete details and forms (www.Taylor-Edu.ca).
