Requirements for International Students

No requirements for ESL students. Students who are registered into an ESL program will write a placement test to determine their level of proficiency in written English. The student is then interviewed to determine their listening and speaking ability and placed in the program according to their level in each of these areas.

Procedure for International Students

In order to enrol in KGIC's TEFL, Hotel Management, Business Internship, Office Professional, or TTCE programs, students are required to write an entrance test prior to the start of the program or submit a TOEFL 450 or TOEIC 650 score. This qualifies them for an interview with the program's co-ordinator.

Notes:KGIC receives new students on an on going basis. This allows students to choose the most convenient time to begin their studies. We recommend that students register to begin on the first Monday of the month in order to allow a full month of instruction before month end assessment at which time teachers may promote students to a higher level.
