The Social Work degree at Lincoln combines rigorous academic study with extensive practice-based experience, aiming to equip you with the personal and professional attributes required for a career in social work. Students have the opportunity to learn how to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and are encouraged to see social work within its broader, multidisciplinary context. Practice placements form a key component of this program and you will have the opportunity to benefit from the School's well-established links with regional and national agencies. This course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Successful completion of the degree qualifies a graduate to practice as a social worker and to apply to join the HCPC register. |

Students will need to be caring, patient, and have an experience of working with others this can be in the voluntary sector or previous social care work. |
| Application Notes : | All students are assumed to have a basic awareness of social work, which they will be required to demonstrate at an interview. The interview process will involve a group exercise, a written test, an individual interview, and an initial discussion with a service user. The University aims to notify all applicants who have been invited for interview of the University’s decision within three weeks of the interview date. |
