Description:

Social Work at Sussex combines theory with practical experience, giving you a qualification that can change people’s lives.

You go on well-supported work placements, making the most of partnerships we’ve developed over years of collaboration with local organisations.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

Applicants are required to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) 70%-75% from 6 grade 12 U, U/C or M courses.

We also recognise the High School Diploma from other provinces -including Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick- where we look for strong performace in grade 12 subjects, and the Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales (DEC) from Quebec.

You must also have a good level of ability in English and Mathematics.
