The two year pre-university Social Science - Commerce program is designed to prepare you for university studies. Commerce aims to enhance the theoretical understanding and appreciation of business activities. The program is not for students who want to work in business immediately after Cegep; instead, it offers a theoretical view of business geared to help you become familiar with the nature of Commerce programs at leading universities and their requirements for admission.
A DCS in Social Science - Commerce prepares you for university studies with majors in fields such as accounting, business administration, management, marketing, economics, finance, and other business oriented programs. After obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce, many students pursue post graduate studies to become certified professional accountants (CPAs) or obtain an MBA.

Admission to the College is on the basis of the Quebec Secondary School Diploma (Diplôme d’études secondaires); or the Québec Diploma of Vocational Education (Diplôme d’études professionnelles) with Secondary 5 fi rst & second languages as well as Secondary 4 Mathematics; or equivalent schooling completed outside the province. Math TS/SN 506 or Cegep Math 201-015-50 or adult education MTH 5101-5111 (inclusive) is required.
