Description:

Earn your undergraduate degree close to home. Take up to two years of classes at NIC before completing your Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science at VIU. Develop university-level research skills in NIC's discussion friendly classes, pay less tuition and qualify for entrance awards at both institutions.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Dual Admission students must meet VIU’s general admission requirements. Applicants can apply to either VIU or NIC and must identify that they wish to apply to the NIC-VIU Dual Admission/Co-Admission option. In addition, for a Bachelor of Arts: general admission requirements include an option for mature students who were unable to complete secondary school, and for a Bachelor of Science: Principles of Mathematics 12 with a minimum “B” grade is a prerequisite for the required Math courses. Other high school science courses may be required for the different Majors and Minors. No more than 60 credits can be transferred from elsewhere toward a VIU degree. Application deadline for Bachelor of Science admission is March 31.
