Description:

The Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Interdisciplinary Studies program at CapU lets you choose your own path. 

The world doesn’t fit into one neat subject area. Build your own bachelor's degree with courses chosen from across the Faculty of Arts & Sciences. 

Uncover the connections that reflect the world around you while developing skills modern employers consider essential. 

Throughout this intensive program, your fields of study include only what you want. You'll assemble your bachelor's degree from courses in the fields of arts, humanities, social sciences, languages, sciences, mathematics, computing science and statistics - in addition to the full complement of electives to give your education breadth.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 

High School Requirements 

  • High school graduation 
  • A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses 

Current high school students 

Grade 12 students can apply for conditional admission based on their final Grade 11 and/or interim Grade 12 marks by uploading their most recent grades (e.g., unofficial transcript or a report card) through EducationPlannerBC. Final admission depends on high school graduation and meeting the specific requirements of the program. 

Note: Applicants from B.C high schools must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS) as soon as possible.
