If you are mathematically inclined and interested in studying physical applications of mathematics, you will find Mathematical Physics Studies very stimulating. Graduates are found in many industries: Computer manufacture and software, Pharmaceuticals, Diesel engine manufacture, digital TV, financial markets, electrical power generation, insurance, etc.

    Domestic applicants require passes in six subjects (including two at minimum HC3) including: Irish, English, Mathematics (minimum Grade B3 LC Ordinary Level/D3 LC Higher Level), one laboratory science subject, and two other recognised subjects.

    Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma: The minimum for consideration is minimum score of C in six subjects, which includes a minimum of B in two subjects, with English and specific programme requirements.
