Mathematical Physics makes the world go round, or at the very least, helps us comprehend the natural phenomenon of the Earth’s rotation. When combining math and physics in study, you’ll gain a unique understanding of a variety of the world’s most fascinating challenges — from celestial mechanics to the issue of global climate change. Trent’s Mathematical Physics program will help you develop experience with a wide variety of focuses that include everything from astrophysics, condensed matter physics, relativity, differential geometry and more.

Applicants are required to have: an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), a minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites, a minimum 70% overall final average, MHF4U or MCV4U, and ENG 4U with a minimum of 60%.
