The BA degree in Economics & Politics is an exciting multidisciplinary joint-major programme that gives you the opportunity to study these complementary subjects together in a systematic way. It also equips you with the quantitative skills needed to analyse economic policies. The combination of subjects does not pre-suppose any particular school subjects although it is an advantage for you to have ability in mathematics for Economics and an interest in current affairs for Politics. |

Domestic applicants require passes in six subjects (including two at minimum HC3) including those shown below: Irish, English, a third language, and three other recognised subjects.
Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma: The minimum for consideration is minimum score of C in six subjects, which includes a minimum of B in two subjects, with English and specific programme requirements. |
