This four-year interdisciplinary law degree places the study of law in the context of economics and enables students to explore their relationship. The programme aims to provide you with: knowledge of the principles and rules of law, understanding of the principles, concepts and methods of economics, insight into how law influences economic behaviour and how economic factors affect legal norms and institutions.
You will learn fundamental legal concepts and principles, develop an ability to analyse law and engage in legal reasoning, gain a critical understanding of how economic factors shape and develop law and acquire research skills in the fields of law and economics. |

Domestic applicants are required to have passes in six subjects (including two at minimum HC3) including: Irish, English, a third language, and three other recognised subjects.
Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma: The minimum for consideration is minimum score of C in six subjects, which includes a minimum of B in two subjects, with English and specific programme requirements. |
