Students who complete a Social Science Major in Child Studies will develop theoretical knowledge and critical thinking about the development and education of children. This program is not a prerequisite for any specific university program. This Major prepares students to pursue university studies in any Social Science discipline such as anthropology, economics, sociology, geography, history, political science, psychology, law, journalism, education and social work.

Admission to the College is on the basis of the Quebec Secondary School Diploma (Diplôme d’études secondaires); or the Québec Diploma of Vocational Education (Diplôme d’études professionnelles) with Secondary 5 fi rst & second languages as well as Secondary 4 Mathematics; or equivalent schooling completed outside the province. Math CST 563-404/414 is required. |
