Description:

At Vanier College, we are proud of our rigorous approach to instruction in Science. Over the years we have built a reputation for excellence in Science studies. Our commitment to excellence extends to the size of our classes. The lab components of all science courses have a maximum of twenty students. Science is a two-year pre-university program in which students take twelve program specific science courses in addition to those required to fulfill their general studies requirements. Depending on their academic orientation, students must select among several profiles, including Pure and Applied Science, Health Science, and Honours Science.

A DCS in Science is excellent preparation for many areas of university studies including fi elds like engineering, medicine or ecology but also for topics as diverse as finance and education. Once enrolled in Science at Vanier College, we strongly recommend that students consult with an Academic Advisor concerning the necessary prerequisites for university programs.
