Students of marketing will acquire analytical tools from economics, mathematics, statistics and the social and behavioural sciences. A major in Marketing is useful for such positions as account representatives, brand managers, advertising executives and market researchers. Marketing majors may find employment in the private sector, in non-profit organizations, and in government. Marketing concepts and principles are of particular importance to small businesses and new business ventures.
The minimum requirement for a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing is 120 credit hours.
