Diagnostic imaging is more complex today than ever. X-rays are digital and CT scans are one of the most used methods for diagnosing trauma and disease. The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) profession is an interesting combination of working with high-level technology while caring for diverse patients to achieve high quality images. Are you up to the task?
Confederation College can teach you these skills in our Medical Radiation Technology 2½ year Advanced Diploma program. You’ll learn x-ray and CT equipment operation, proper radiation safety, patient management and human anatomy, while using critical thinking skills to properly position patients and evaluate image quality, all in a professional environment. |
