Description:Our Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics program provides rigorous training in economics to provide both a theoretical and empirical way to understand, interpret and explore the issues and challenges in society. Our Economics program is excellent preparation for graduate work in economics, as well as business, law, public administration and other professional disciplines.

Laurier’s Economics department is uniquely positioned within our Lazaridis School of Business and Economics to provide you with the option to complete your degree in Economics and Accounting or Economics and Financial Management.

  •  Grade12 Data Management  or  Grade12 Calculus and Vectors 

Applicants are required to have an admission range of mid 80s, English at 70%, Advanced Functions at 70%, and either: Calculus and Vectors or Data Management at 60%. Competitive admission range of high 80s.

Test Scores:
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 83] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 85]
