Description:

At Augustana, a degree in Psychology will allow you to become well versed in psychological topics. You will be able to understand and use different worldviews, concepts, language, and major theories of the discipline to account for psychological phenomena. Students are able to focus their studies in either our mental health and well-being stream, which places a higher emphasis on arts-based psychology courses or our brain and behaviour stream, which prioritizes science-based psychology classes. As a part of this program, students are also required to obtain a co-curricular certificate in either Mental Health First Aid or Community Engagement and Service Learning to put practical use to your classroom studies in psychology.
