The need for qualified, well-trained data science professionals spans virtually every industry. The Master of Data Science program prepares students for careers in data science by providing a diverse and coprehensive understanding of core data science skills through an ethical lens with a focus on spatial-temporal data.
The Master of Data Science may be completed on a full- or part-time basis, allowing students greater flexibility during their degree. Students are expected to complete the program in three to six semesters. In keeping with market demand, the program offers a unique emphasis on spatial-temporal data to support businesses’ need for data collected over time and across geographic regions. |

Honour’s Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution with a minimum average of 70% (B-) in the last four semesters of study with: A major or minor in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field; or Working knowledge of statistics and computer programming, demonstrated through completion of university or college level degree credit courses equivalent to the following U of G courses: STAT*3240 and CIS*2500. |
