Description:

MA Fashion Communication at Central Saint Martins embodies these changes to communication, technology, and new media. It explores the discipline through new, cutting-edge digital platforms and media as well as more traditional modes of communication. The course helps you to develop the professional skills to join the next generation of fashion theorists, analysts, writers, journalists, image-makers and visual communicators. It also helps you to anticipate and respond to fluid, fluctuating global communication channels.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

The standard entry requirements for this course are as follows:

    • First-class or upper second-class honours degree from similar BA courses in Fashion Journalism or Communication but more typically from humanities subjects at university
    • Or an equivalent EU / international qualification
    Additional Admission Requirements:
Students are required to write 800 to 1000 words on any aspect of the modern fashion world that interests them. This should be a lively, interesting and thoughtful piece of journalism – rather than an academic essay. Sources for all quotes should be clearly listed at the end of the piece.

      * We make every attempt to provide accurate information on prerequisites, programs, and tuition. However, this information is subject to change without notice and we highly recommend that you contact the school to confirm important information before applying.
