Description:

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) prepares you to apply big-picture thinking to real-world business problems. Whether you want a fast-paced career, the skills to pursue new ventures, or the chance to reimagine how the world perceives business, you’ll benefit from a program of learning relevant and customized to you.

The Human Resource Management (HRM) introductory courses help students in all business fields to understand, predict, and manage behavior in organizations. Choose to take courses focused on two professional career streams: the Personnel Specialist option covers recruitment, training, negotiation skills and performance management while the Managing People option includes design of employment systems, change and organizational leadership. You’ll be prepared for entry-level positions in human resource management and consulting firms.

- Minimum of 5 Grade 12 courses, including English Studies 12, Pre-Calculus 12, and three additional courses from the SFU Beedie approved course list.

- English Studies 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum final blended grade of 70%.

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment or DuoLingo or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based)
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Secondary school applicants are competitively selected for admission in the fall and spring terms (only) by:


    - Meeting SFU’s English language requirement

    - Meeting SFU's quantitative and analytical skills requirement

    - Demonstrating strong academic performance on all approved courses

    - A strong Supplemental Application
