University of Tampa is a private, residential, medium sized, comprehensive institution conveniently located in heart of downtown Tampa. Over 5,300 students attend from all 50 states and nearly 100 different countries.

Over 100 areas of study plus ten graduate programs are offered. 120 different clubs and organizations are offered including an honours program, study abroad, and internship opportunities. Highlights also include an innovative freshmen year program, ROTC, Academic Center for Excellence, peer tutoring, Writing Center, internships, and faculty directed research. Faculty to student ratio is 17:1 and average class size is 21. Students compete in NCAA Division II sports.
