Southern New Hampshire University is a U.S. News and World Report Tier 1 university with a small college feel. Areas of Expertise

SNHU offers programs in business, education, hospitality and the liberal arts. We are best know for our undergraduate and graduate programs in business, including our 3Year Honors Program in Business Administration (B.S.) and our Global M.B.A program. We offer courses and degree programs on campus, at our centers in New Hampshire and Maine, and online.

.All new ESL and undergraduate students are required to live on campus with the exception of married students. Undergraduate housing is limited, so make your reservation early. There is no on campus housing for graduate students. You may wish to live on-campus in one of our residence halls, apartments, or townhouses or search for off-campus housing on your own

Off Campus Housing

Private apartment complexes may rent to international students. The International Student Services Office can help locating off-campus accommodation.

Incoming Students

The main campus features a new, state-of-the-art academic center and dining hall, residence halls, multimedia classrooms, wireless Internet access, auditoriums, technology labs, a graphic arts lab, a student-run gourmet restaurant and bakery, a simulated stock trading room, a museum-quality art gallery, and more

Career Planning

A full range of career planning services are available. Many majors offer internship options that provide students with professional experience that will help them when starting their careers. Sports

The athletic program features sports at the varsity and intramural levels. Our soccer and basketball teams are consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally. Our NCAA Division II champion-caliber athletic teams compete within the Northeast-10 Athletic Conference.

Activities

Student life encompasses many student organizations, clubs, and activities. Student organizations range from the academic to the social, including an active International Student Association.

Over 55 clubs and organizations, both academic and social provide for extracurricular interests. .

Information Technology

All residence halls are wired for Internet access, cable TV, and a telephone/voice mail hook up. Network access is available in the library and cafeteria, and many classrooms. Campus wide wireless are available.

Cultural

Manchester and the Boston area offer a wide variety of theatre, cinemas, ethnic restaurants and food stores, concerts, clubs, and bars. Our on-campus pub offers social events, a wide screen TV and snacks.
