Its principal sites are in Alnarp, Umeå and Uppsala, but activities are also conducted at research stations, experimental parks and educational establishments throughout Sweden.

Orientation days (pdf) are intended for both international master students and exchange students. It is not mandatory to attend, and you do not have to attend both days, but we recommend it since you will get useful information about studies in Sweden and SLU while having fun and getting to know your classmates.

SLU's study counsellors can assist you with general queries on study and career choices and we can help you structure your thoughts and explore the opportunities available to you, to help you make a choice that is right for you.

Like all students in Sweden, those at SLU have the opportunity to become a member of a student union. At SLU there are eight different student unions, and students can join one union depending on the programme they are enrolled in.
