Our accommodation has been voted second best in the UK. Our accommodation offer over 5000 study bedrooms and are within a 10 minute walk of the campus. The newest accommodation Trinity Square overlooks the beautiful Newcastle Gateshead Quayside and is approximately a 25 minute walk from campus.
NU Lets - Northumbria's only recommended estate agents - is based in the Students' Union on campus. NU Lets is a free service for students looking for accommodation off campus. They do not charge any admin fees unlike some other student estate agents.
Northumbria University wants our students to enjoy every minute during your time with us. We have ensured we provide the best services for our students with our Student Support and Wellbeing team being awarded the best team in the UK. We offer services ranging from visa advice, mental health support, disability, faith support and more.
98% of our students are in further education or employment within six months of graduating. Our Careers and Employment Service is one of the best services in the UK offering free advice from enrolment to graduation and beyond.
Sport Central - Northumbria's flagship sporting facility - offers state of the art faciltities including a six-lane 25m swimming pool, indoor sprint track, indoor climbing wall, squash and sport halls. Sport Central is currently ranked in the Top 10 for the most improved University in Sport in the British University and Colleges League. It is also home to the British Basketball League winners the Newcastle Eagles.
Sport Central offers over 37 sport clubs with competitive and non-competitive routes allowing all sporting abilities to take part in sport.

Our library, ranked 2nd in the UK, offers excellent services for all students from enrolment to graduation. With generous opening hours 24/7 during term time and 9am until midnight during the vacation period, we support all students in their studies. The library is staffed at all times with highly trained staff to help out with anything you may need.
