Areas of Expertise

ICM provides international students a pathway to year two at the University of Manitoba. The ICM pathway provides a smooth transition into the U of M. University designed programs, taught by qualified instructors on the main U of M Campus, ensure that our students have the very best preparation for the demands of higher education in Canada.

On Campus Housing

As an ICM student, you will have access to on-campus accommodations, off-campus accommodations and homestay. Students are responsible for booking their accommodations. There are a number of options available depending on what you’re looking for as well as your budget. Remember - apply early! Popular options often have wait lists starting 4-6 months in advance. Career Planning

Career Services assists University of Manitoba students with career planning and job search questions that students may have. They will help students with career options after graduation from specific faculties and programs as well as helping come up with a plan for future success. Sports

The U of M Active Living Centre provides opportunities for physical activity, stress relief, spiritual connectedness, social bonding, and the learning of new skills. Whether you are beginner or advanced, prefer organized or drop-in, or like individual, team, or group activities, the U of M Active Living Centre has something for you. This is a brand new state-of-the-art 100,000 sq. ft. facility, located at the south-west corner of the Fort Garry campus. The facilities include: 200-metre indoor track, Outdoor tennis courts, indoor squash and racquetball courts, table tennis, Indoor salt water pool, Group fitness classes, Ice rink, Fitness Centre with a variety of equipment to suit your needs, including 100 pieces of free weights and accessories, 160 pieces of cardio equipment, 64 pieces of resistance equipment and 49 pieces of strength equipment, 40-ft indoor climbing wall, Free admission to campus athletic events, and much more!

Special Services

The Student Counselling Centre is located on campus and is available to help students through any frustrations or stress they may be dealing with. The SCC offers multiple services to students to ensure they are helped with any difficulties they may be having, along with supporting the student’s academic success. They also have Student Accessibility Services located on campus, which provides support for students dealing with multiple types of disabilities.

Other
