Gannon's signature programs, Core of Discovery and Lifecore provide students with the foundation for experiencing both the academic and co-curricular experiences of a solid college education. The Core of Discovery is our liberal arts core curriculum that helps students understand humanity, social concepts and structures, and their own ethics and values. Lifecore challenges a student's growth and development through participation of events and activities that encompass nine lifestyle dimensions.

Attend the International Student Orientation and the New Student Orientation, and stop by the International Student Office, Z341B (your passport, I-20, and other documents need to be reviewed). Outside the classroom, you can be involved in a number of activities like student government, campus ministry, academic clubs, intramural sports, or the International Student Association to name a few. And Gannon’s downtown location puts you right in the middle of everything. Whether you’re a sports fan or outdoor enthusiast, or whether museums and theatre are more your style, there is plenty to do and see around town; most of which is within walking distance.
