Champlain College, established in 1878, is a private residential college ranked in the top tier of the Best Comprehensive Colleges in the North by US News America's Best Colleges. The College's academic focus balances professionally oriented programs with a distinctive interdisciplinary core of courses. Our Upside-Down Curriculum allows freshmen to begin their major in their first semester.

At Champlain, we offer 34 majors with an emphasis on business, communications, education, game and interactive development, hospitality, human services, pre-professional studies, and technology. Our professionally focused programs are balanced by a strong core curriculum with courses integrating science and the humanities.
