Redeemer is a Christian liberal arts and science university offering you a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in 39 different majors. Redeemer's education is rooted in an inter-disciplinary core curriculum taken by every student. This means our programs are well-rounded and flexible and encourage you to develop your gifts as you prepare for the realities of a fast-paced, constantly changing world and workforce.
With a professor to student ratio of 12:1, there is plenty of opportunities to have meaningful interactions with experts in your chosen field. And since our average class size is 20 students, our faculty are able to share their expertise on a more personal level through mentorship within the classroom.
There are 440 spaces for single students. All first and second year students who are younger than 20 years as of December 30 are required to live in residences unless they live at home with their family (and are therefore guaranteed housing).

Redeemer has a number of programs and resources to help you succeed. Through Learning Services, you can take advantage of Study Smart Seminars, which covers topics such as library use, internet research, and time management. There is also tutoring services, the Writing Centre and many other Learning Skills Resources.
The Centre for Experiential Learning and Careers offers interest, career, and skill testing self-assessment workshops and counselling in occupational value clarification, interest identification, and personality traits are also available. Workshops and information in job search techniques resume and cover letter writing, and interview techniques are available. Assistance is given to students needing summer or campus employment.
Redeemer University is an affiliated member of the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA), the Canadian College Athletic Association (CCAA), and the Ontario Christian Colleges Athletic Association. Athletics at Redeemer are an integral part of the institution's total educational experience. Redeemer University provides two computer labs with 70 computers, laser printers, plus an e-mail cafe and a commuter student computer lounge. Students have high speed, wireless internet access across campus. Residences also have high-speed wireless internet access.
Redeemer University is home to a variety of cultural events throughout the year. Poetry readings, theatre productions, concerts and art exhibits are all part of our campus' dynamic and creative community. Redeemer offers a variety of services and resources to support and encourage students so that they may achieve their academic and personal goals.The campus is wheelchair accessible and additional services are provided if needed. Special services include note takers, tutors, peer counselling, extra test or exam time, different test location, and scribes. A Learning Services Director is in place to assist the students with the above mentioned services.
