Established in 1991, Bronte College is a private, co-educational IB World School offering Grades 9 to 12 for day and boarding students. Bronte College is centrally located in the safe, vibrant, and multicultural city of Mississauga in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The campus is located just 20 minutes from the International airport and close to major highways, trains to downtown Toronto, shopping, theatres, etc. The campus boasts an on-campus residence building with 24/7 hour security. During inclement weather, students living on-campus enjoy the convenience of attending classes in the same building. The campus offers a full service cafeteria, library, gymnasium, fitness centre, auditorium and outdoor field.
Bronte College offers the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) to all of our students. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and Advanced Placement (AP) Exams are offered to gifted students. A Pre-IB Programme is offered to Grade 9 and 10 students interested in taking the IB DP in upper level grades. To assist international students' transition from an English Second Language (ESL) environment to a full academic program, students will be placed in our standard ESL program according to their pre-assessed level, in conjunction with other credit courses. Intermediate/advanced students will have the opportunity to improve their proficiency while working toward the completion of their OSSD, while beginners will benefit from the additional opportunity to practice their English skills.
