Off Campus Housing

Although many full-time postgraduate students are housed by their Colleges (either within the College grounds or in postgraduate hostels or flats), few Colleges can house all their student members. There can be a strong demand for suitable private rented accommodation in Cambridge but the Accommodation Service is available to offer friendly and helpful advice on housing.

The Accommodation Service helps to relocate families from across the world, and can provide information on living in Cambridge and assist with school information and applications, and details about local facilities, sports and libraries.

For more information, visit the Accommodation Services website.

As a postgraduate student at Cambridge, you will be entitled to use the University Careers Service from the moment you arrive, throughout your research studies, and after you've graduated. The Sports Service also maintains dedicated athletics and hockey facilities at Wilberforce Road Sports Ground, while cricket and tennis have their home at Fenner's, one of the country's most historic and iconic sports venues. A range of other club and college grounds are available across the city, catering to rugby, rowing, and many other sports besides.

With over 700 clubs and societies to choose from, you'll be sure to find a group to match your interests and add to your student experience.
