The College of Medicine was fully accredited in 1957 by the Association of Canadian Medical Colleges, the Association of American Medical Colleges, and the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
Connected with the medical building is the Royal University Hospital of approximately 420 beds with departments directed by the professional heads of the corresponding university departments. Clinical teaching is carried out also in St. Paul's Hospital and City Hospital in Saskatoon and at the General Hospital and Pasqua Hospital.
The Admissions Office is available to assist all applicants who seek counselling regarding admission to Medicine. It is our policy, however, not to instruct applicants as to a specific course of action to follow, but to provide the information needed for them to make their own choice with respect to the alternatives available.
