Village English was founded in 1995 and has been operating comprehensive year round language programs for international students and local students ever since. The school has grown substantially over the years and has now helped over 2,000 students from over 50 countries improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English. Village English has developed its own unique academic system including a curriculum that has become well known for its successful focus on improving all facets of English language production.

Village English specializes in English language training to foreign nationals. Village English also provides Business English training to both local businesses and foreign nationals. Village English has recently added Business Mandarin to its portfolio for local businesses.

All homestays are close to the school and to major bus routes on the Mississauga transit system. All homestays are inspected and interviewed by school staff before they are allowed to accept students. Feedback is regularly collected from students to ensure a high quality homestay experience for all students. The cost is $215.00 per week.

Students with an intermediate level of English can volunteer with local organizations to improve their English skills in a real world environment. The students help out at shows, lend a hand organizing festivals, and demonstrate their business skills thereby creating opportunities for themselves.

Village English students give cultural presentations to local schools. The students have a chance to share customs with Canadian students such as clothing, food, music, dance, and ideas that make each culture unique.
