BEC Canada is a language school located in London, Ontario. BEC Canada prides itself on providing professional English instruction for every type of student: students who require TOEFL preparation, business professionals and university graduates who require intensive English conversation instruction, and people who plan on immigrating to North America and wish to strengthen their English. BEC Canada offers peronalized attention to all its students, from Beginners to Advanced levels. Students can pick and choose the areas on which they want to focus, from intensive conversation classes to TOFEL ibt preparation classes, all aimed at helping them become comfortable with using English on a daily basis. School staff will create a lesson plan that will help students meet their English learning objectives.

Homestay accommodations are available. The cost is $700 per month. The homestay families are located in some of the finest areas of London, Ontario; these homes are safe, secure and inspected by coordinators. The homestay family will provide you with a private room, a comfortable bed, and a desk with suitable light. A healthy breakfast in the morning, a packed lunch for the afternoon, and a complete dinner in the evening will be provided every day by the Homestay family. Students may choose to pack their own lunch, if they wish. If students prefer to live on their own or with a friend, the coordinators at BEC Canada will help them find a suitable apartment or house. Rental fees depend on the accommodation. Students will be responsible for their own meals.

Activities

Some of the things students do for fun as a group: go bowling once a month with the class, celebrate the Canadian Christmas, New Year, Easter, and Thanksgiving, visit sites of interest for the London tourist such as the maple syrup factory, Native Indian reserve, and the Banting House, have dinners and / or picnics at the residence of BEC Canada's directors, tour the University of Western Ontario, volunteer at the London Daily Bread Food Bank, carve pumpkins on Hallowe'en (October 31st), play winter sports such as ice skating and tobogganing in the park, attend professional baseball games in Toronto (can be organized on request), and shop at one of London's large malls.
