Sutherland-Chan Schools Inc. is a leader in massage therapy education and committed to the highest standards of technical and professional training. Our mission is to advance the massage therapy profession through advocacy, public education, continuing professional education, and graduation of the finest massage therapists in the field.
Many of you are interested in finding good accommodation close to the school. While Sutherland-Chan does not provide housing, we do our best to help our students and potential landlords find out about each other. We poll the neighbourhood and our current students to find out where accommodations are available. We also provide website links to housing services that may be of service.
After becoming registered practitioners, Sutherland-Chan alumni are considered highly employable. In our 1999 graduating class (2000 statistics pending), 97% were employed within six months. In 2001, we also had one of the lowest student loan default rates (1.7%) in the private vocational schools sector. We believe that these types of results reflect our commitment to you, the student, and to the quality of our educational program.

We have a small parking lot with four spots reserved for students. Every other month, there is a parking lottery in which interested students enter their name. The fee is $64.20 per month. There is another parking lot within a 5-minute walk from the school. The cost to park there is $6.00 daily. Also, some people in the neighborhood rent out their driveways to students.
