Our students come from all over the world to immerse themselves in Canadian culture and improve their English. We make it our personal mission to ensure that the memories they will take home from their time here with us will last a lifetime.
We understand that in today's world English is an important language and that's why many students come to us to improve all aspects of their English ability - to build a better future for themselves. As a proud member of Languages Canada, SGIC meets all industry standards for ESL schools - you can be sure that SGIC's teaching and administrative staff take your education seriously. The whole team here at SGIC, from our teachers to staff and even fellow students, work together to make this a great school where learning is fun and your dreams can come true.
We offer an intensive English-learning environment where students are only allowed to speak English on school premises.
Shared accommodations are available to students who wish to live on-campus.
The Home Placement Program is available throughout the year. Home placement promotes friendship and cross-cultural communication, and is a great way for you to improve your English while experiencing Canadian life. Students will be matched with Canadian hosts who have been carefully selected for their ability to provide a safe, comfortable, and friendly home. An important quality we look for in a host is their genuine desire to share their family life and culture with an international student. Hosts will provide three meals a day, as well as a comfortable private room with a bed, desk, and other furnishings.
St. George International College organizes a variety of fun activities throughout the year. You will have an opportunity to watch a Blue Jays baseball game at the Skydome, visit the C.N. Tower, The Royal Ontario Museum, the Toronto Zoo, Canada's Wonderland, The Ontario Science Centre, and Toronto's famous castle, Casa Loma. You can have a picnic in High Park and take a cruise to the Toronto Islands, and participate in sports activities, such as ice skating, skiing, hockey, and soccer. You can also experience Toronto's vibrant night-life, going to the movies, dining, and dancing. Our Student Services Coordinator also organises weekend trips to places like Algonquin Park and Montreal. These trips give students an opportunity to explore Canada and learn firsthand about Canadian culture.
