Profile

Randolph College For The Performing Arts, established in 1992, offers one of the most intensive and unique two-year post-secondary professional training programs in Canada. More than just a musical theatre school, RCPA transforms performers into multi-talented professional artists through a rigorous training program that integrates acting for the stage and screen, vocal, and dance (jazz, ballet, tap), as well as theory and history.

RCPA graduates can apply to Wilfrid Laurier’s Honours BMus in Community Music to complete their bachelor’s degree with an additional two years (10.0 credits) of full-time study. Grads are also eligible to audition for master's degree programs at the University of Surrey's Guildford School of Acting or the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. RCPA is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.

On Campus Housing

We do not offer on-campus housing at this time; a list of local housing resources is provided upon admission to the program, and students can connect with Student Services for support.

Incoming Students

Incoming students will begin to experience the benefits of a small school immediately upon auditioning - our recruiter Kelly (joinus@randolphcollege.ca) will answer questions, connect students with resources, provide campus tours, and do everything she can to ensure our incoming students are supported and ready to learn.

Career Planning

Members of our faculty are working professionals within the entertainment industry. In addition to our regularly scheduled classes, guest artists from Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles conduct workshops, providing students with up-to-the-minute training and advice so that students will be familiar with current trends in the industry.

Special Services

Our students are invited to participate in Student Caucuses that provide a safe and supported space to connect with their peers and faculty, advocate for themselves and others, and connect with the larger artistic community.
