Profile

Founded in 1982 as a labour / management initiative, the OETIO is now internationally recognized as a first-class training facility for crane and heavy equipment operators. The OETIO's primary mandate is to train personnel for Ontario's construction industry which is served by Local 793 of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Accidents, injuries and repair costs in the industry have been significantly reduced as a result of the contribution of our training programs.

Areas of Expertise

OETIO courses are designed and delivered by professionals using the latest educational techniques and modern equipment. Curriculum is piloted and tested to ensure that the sessions spent in the classroom and during the hands-on exercises are both rewarding and useful to both participant and industry.
