The Metropolitan Bartending School offers a Government Certified program with hands-on practical training at Elwood's, an operating restaurant and bar environment in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver. Each student can expect to learn how to make over 100 cocktails, as well as gain extensive knowledge of the restaurant and bar industry. Cash skills and computer training are also a focus of the curriculum.

As the school is located in an established professional bar students have the opportunity to work with actual keg and draft systems and a fast-paced environment.

The Metropolitan Bartending School offers job placement assistance to all of their graduates with clubs, restaurants and bars in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
