Established in 1935, General Welding School Limited is Canada's oldest welding school. The school's unique approach offers entirely hands-on, one-on-one learning, under the watchful eye of a professional welder. You will begin welding on day one. Programs are 80% hands-on and 20% shop theory, which is taught in the shop and not in a classroom. The programs are flexible enough to accommodate all aptitude levels. All classes can be customized to suit your needs, and arranged to suit your schedule. Having been in business for over 70 years, General Welding School Limited has been able to direct its students towards successful job opportunities, and to advance the certification level of skilled welders as well. The experienced instructors are certified, and licensed by the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA) and the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
