Comox Valley Beauty School, located in Courtney, BC, is one of the largest schools of its kind in the province. It is the only PCTIA (Private Career Training Institutions Agency) accredited beauty school north of Nanaimo. At the Comox Valley Beauty School, students will not only receive a solid foundation in Hair Design,and Nail Technology, but also study Advanced Esthetics, Barber Design, and Advanced Make-up for Film, TV and Theatre.

Although there are no accommodations at the school, there are many residential options available to out-of-town students. There are many homes and apartments in close proximity to the school. The two local newspapers; the Echo and the Record publish these on a twice-weekly basis.
